my parents were terrible cooks and they taught me how to cook terribly, and i plan to teach my eventual kids how to also cook terribly.

(Anonymous) 2013-09-01 02:13 am (UTC)(link)
What are you doing on anon? Being unable to think of the future is why they're all drug-addicted prostitutes.

(Anonymous) 2013-09-01 02:13 am (UTC)(link)
this cooking wank is so bizarre to me ngl

where i'm from (indonesia) poor people cook p much 100% every meal, whereas middle-class and up don't know how to cook and have to have servants or restaurant food

i can't even imagine not being able to cook tho omg. what happens if there's a monsoon or hurricane or w/e and all the fast food places are closed????? would you just eat sandwiches and cereal???

(Anonymous) 2013-09-01 02:13 am (UTC)(link)

(Anonymous) 2013-09-01 02:14 am (UTC)(link)
luckily i dont have to worry about kids but this was my family's experience growing up.

my dad had a labor intensive job when he came home and he usually slept right away after work. my mom had a less labor intensive job but she still had to take care of us kids and cook and clean. if she and my dad had divorced then what? thats over half the income gone.

you need to shut the fuck up and go punch yourself in the face.

they always bleeped it out here

(Anonymous) 2013-09-01 02:15 am (UTC)(link)
i'd curl up with my giant bags of money and wait until the hurricane passes so people can cook me more food

(Anonymous) 2013-09-01 02:16 am (UTC)(link)
where i'm from (india) it's easier to buy cheap street food than cook in urban places

in america too they have a working poor class serving the poor class, it perpetuates itself

lql i'll never forget when my mom taught me how to crack an egg- you smash it on the edge of the counter then dig your thumb finger into the middle of the shell where its cracked and just kind of crumble/pry it apart until the yolk plops into the bowl
